As we begin this new year, it is more certain than ever that the "calm before the storm" is nearly over. The delays we have experienced are only by the grace of God, and it will not last much longer. I pray that you are prepared both spiritually, and materially.
"Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off. Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God." -Ezekiel 12:27,28.
We are looking toward a BIG economic collapse, and war. At some point the $ is set to be deliberately devalued, probably to 40% of its worth. The same thing happened during the Great Depression. But also, we are still on target to have the Dollar's world reserve currency status revoked; it has only been the unrest we have instigated amongst the oil producing nations which has delayed it. The following "bad news" scenario has been suggested (by Webster Tarpley) as a possibility of what could happen...
Many have been warning of the consequences of a war with Iran: specifically, their closing of the Strait of Hormuz if they are attacked. About one-third of the world's oil passes through this strait. Oil prices would soar, speculated at $200- $500 per barrel (currently it is about $100). Not too good, right?
And yet, the higher-ups may see this as the only way to save the dollar. Think about it. The U.S. Dollar is the world's reserve currency, and it is collapsing. OPEC oil sales are what make that $ strong, so an attack would work favorably for the Dollar's status in 2 ways; first, it would indefinitely postpone the reserve currency change. Second, higher oil prices mean bigger $, and therefore make it stronger. Our gov't has worked this type of corruption for 40 years, never concerned about the actual effects on ordinary Americans (Like $10 per gallon gas).
This war with Iran, and likely at least some of its allies, is nearly upon us. The Lord gave me a dream which I believe indirectly referred to this coming war some 2.5 years ago. My impression was that the catalyst events were taking place in February; this is the 3rd February since that time. The dream showed a terrorist attack on the Eiffel Tower in France as the "primer" for this war. I'm really not good with dreams, and certainly some of these things may be symbolic. Yet it is my duty to warn you, and parts of these world events are really shaping up. Let's PRAY hard that at least no more false-flag terror events will be staged. Speaking of which, I encourage you to look into the new DVD, A Noble Lie. This can be found at http://www.infowars.com/, and details the gov't staged terror event in Oklahoma City in 1995.

First updates 2012
Syria;
- U.S. seeks options for Syria intervention.
- Syrian troops fire on protesters in fresh violence.
- 17 dead as Syrians stage mass protests.
- Deadly Israeli airstrike on Gaza; leaders plan new offensive in Gaza.
- Diseases kill 200 Somali children in 24 hrs.
Pakistan;
- Pakistan defies U.S., honors gas deal with Iran.
- Bomb blast kills two Pakistani soldiers.
- Militants explode school in NW Pakistan.
There were 7 earthquakes of 5+ magnitude on 12/30/11, and 7 more today; including a 6.8 in the Japanese Islands. Several noteable quakes occurred in the U.S., also, in Oklahoma & Arkansas, and a 4.0 in Youngstown, Ohio.
Up until this time, I have been reporting on quakes of 5 magnitude or greater; I will begin to now include quakes of 4.5 magnitude & higher. My reason for doing this is that many significant quakes close to 5 magnitude could get missed, when they really shouldn't be ignored. Frankly, quakes in the U.S. are "news worthy" at 2 or higher! And just to take today, for instance; yes, there were 7 of 5+ magnitude, but by including 4.5 and higher that total reaches 14. I haven't yet done my earthquake compilation for the end of 2011, but it will be forthcoming.

Iran conflict continues to build, plus WWIII updates
The following links concerning Iran;
- U.S. silent war, loud weapons on Iran.
- U.S. sends carrier through Strait of Hormuz during Iran wargames.
In other tidbits;
- Blast kills 22 Somali civilians, troops.
- Israel prepares for another Gaza war.
- Qatar builds up anti-Syria Wahhabi army.
- Bomb kills 11 policemen in Afghanistan.
- Turkish airstrikes kill 35 Kurds.
On the home front;
- 40 Hard Questions Americans Should Be Asking
- Montana is organizing to remove their senators that voted for the detainment bill.
In the more "natural" news;
- 12/26 saw a 6.0 quake in Tonga, which is near New Zealand. 12/27 saw a 6.6 in Southwestern Siberia, Russia.
Also, solar flares are headed our way, striking today or tomorrow. Radio disruption is expected, though the exact locations for this are unknown. I first saw this on Google News; if they are reporting it, then it's too big for them to ignore!
Stay vigilant, folks- we're in for a rough year!

Links for a light-news day
It's been kind of a slow news day, somewhat due to the holiday, but it's good that nothing so serious arose that we were interrupted. I do have 3 links to post for you today;
The GOP fears a Ron Paul presidency. This article appeared briefly on Google news; a place you wouldn't expect to see it! It must have slipped through the cracks, because 90 minutes after I'd seen it, my wife couldn't find it. Thankfully, we saw it in time.
The U.S. is now blaming Iran for 9/11. Just another "eye-rolling" accusation being put forth, as it seems that the U.S. is now floundering for an excuse to have war with Iran. This war will come, but I am somewhat fearful of the false-flag scenario that may be unleashed to get it.
2011: The year of the Dupe. This last one, by Tony Carlucci, is a good synopsis of the year's war activities. It is a pretty long article, but very worthwhile reading.

No holiday for the warmongerers: support Ron Paul!
From the Syrian front;
- More than 30 killed, 100 wounded in blasts at security buildings, Syria says.
- Twin car bombs in Syria signal worsening violence.
Link: Obama is prepared for Iran war.
- Wave of bombings in Iraq capital kills 69, wounds 185 amid political unrest. (The U.S. may well be behind it!)
- 2 Killed, 20 wounded as Yemen forces fire at protesters in Sana'a.
- Israeli tanks invade South Gaza.
In eartquakes, after a couple fairly quiet days, 8 quakes of 5 magnitude or greater hit on 12/23. Four of those were on New Zealand's South Island; 5.9, 5.3, 5.8, and 5.0. Another quake was located in the Kermadec Islands, which is just Northeast of New Zealand. I plan on doing a quake overview once the new year rolls around.
On the home front, 2 linked articles;
- Military to designate U.S. citizens as enemies.
- Why Ron Paul can win.
STOP THE WARS.
In World War I, a cease-fire was agreed upon over the Christmas holiday; I presume this was 1917, but if some of these facts are askew, please forgive me; it's been many years since I heard this told on Paul Harvey news.
As both sides took time to observe the holiday, an American captain tentatively walked over to the German front lines, making contact with their officer in charge; he gave the German officer his pocket-knife as a gift, and wished him a Merry Christmas. It wasn't long before both side were interacting; exchanging gifts, singing carols and the like.
Eventually the cease-fire ended, and both sides were ordered to renew the conflict; they refused! For 3 full weeks the fighting stopped altogether, but eventually pressure from the leaders won out. At first, they began by just lobbing mortar rounds harmlessly overhead, but the fighting finally started again.
Nobody, but nobody in their right minds should want war; not for themselves, and not for anyone else, either. We have touted ourselves to be a "Christian" nation, but war & violence have no foundation in a Christian life. Why, then, are we allowing our leaders to violently destroy so many millions of lives both at home and abroad? Did you know that suicide has been killing more soldiers than those that die in battle?
This is why we must support Ron Paul. He is, head and shoulders above, favored by military personnel. And he is the only candidate who will stop the wars. Yet we must also pray fervently for him, because his foes will try to silence his voice at all costs. In these important primaries, and in the presidential elections (if they occur), support Ron Paul in the best way that you can.

Thoughts on Iran, while Syria stays hot
A report from the Pentagon shows that Iran is mostly concerned with deterring an attack, as we have repeatedly pointed out. Check out the linked article for confirmation.
Meanwhile, apparently oblivious to such logical conclusions, a U.S. General has openly declared that we can successfully attack Iran. May God have mercy on us!
Yesterday was called the worst day yet in Syrian violence;
- Activists say more than 100 civilians killed by Syrian troops.
Rounding out the updates;
- 7 U.S. led troops were killed in an attack in Afghanistan.
- Fresh clashes in Yemen kill 2.
There are many "doom-sayers" out there that repeat unverifiable things. A few turn out to be valid, but most are false. Overall, I am not a big fan of Mayan prophecies. They were great astronomers, and have insight into the workings of the heavens; beyond that, I haven't much faith in them.
That being said, I'd rather merely report on what we are seeing, and can know with at least a degree of certainty. Yet now I will bring to your attention that there is a prediction for 12/24; the Mayan prophecies predict a devastating earthquake, and that new "men of wisdom" will appear to lead humanity into a world government. Actually, I suspect that some parts of this will come true, at least approximately! Yet there is nothing tangible that would make me suspect it is coming on Saturday. Perhaps in the future prediction arena, the timing of such events is also approximate. If indeed something happens, it cannot be seen or verified at this time.
Please hang in there- a 2nd blog follows this one today.
