Thoughts on Iran, while Syria stays hot

A report from the Pentagon shows that Iran is mostly concerned with deterring an attack, as we have repeatedly pointed out. Check out the linked article for confirmation.

Meanwhile, apparently oblivious to such logical conclusions, a U.S. General has openly declared that we can successfully attack Iran. May God have mercy on us!

Yesterday was called the worst day yet in Syrian violence;
- Activists say more than 100 civilians killed by Syrian troops.

Rounding out the updates;
- 7 U.S. led troops were killed in an attack in Afghanistan.
- Fresh clashes in Yemen kill 2.

There are many "doom-sayers" out there that repeat unverifiable things. A few turn out to be valid, but most are false. Overall, I am not a big fan of Mayan prophecies. They were great astronomers, and have insight into the workings of the heavens; beyond that, I haven't much faith in them.

That being said, I'd rather merely report on what we are seeing, and can know with at least a degree of certainty. Yet now I will bring to your attention that there is a prediction for 12/24; the Mayan prophecies predict a devastating earthquake, and that new "men of wisdom" will appear to lead humanity into a world government. Actually, I suspect that some parts of this will come true, at least approximately! Yet there is nothing tangible that would make me suspect it is coming on Saturday. Perhaps in the future prediction arena, the timing of such events is also approximate. If indeed something happens, it cannot be seen or verified at this time.

Please hang in there- a 2nd blog follows this one today.
