Iraq pullout, and other updates

As we have been reporting all along, the U.S. "pullout" from Iraq is not what it seems! There are still between 4,000-5,000 troops, and about 15,000 armed U.S. gov't contractors present. Yes, that's far fewer than before, but we are still in Iraq.

- U.S. Iraq embassy a plotting base in the Middle East.
- U.S. withdrawal in Iraq paves way for an Iran strike.

From Syria;
- Beware of this British propaganda concerning Syria.
- Syria signs Arab League deal to allow observers.

Also around the region;
- U.S., Allies step up Iran embargo.
- Troops kill 3 protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square (Egypt again; weren't they supposed to be free by now?)

As you know, we also like to keep you apprised on the financial meltdown, and various conditions pertaining to it. In keeping with this, the article Debt Free U.S. notes is included for your consideration.

Take care- we'll have much more coming in the near future, I'm sure!
