We have mentioned the apparent dangers associated with comet Elenin, and they are certainly real enough to take reasonable precautions; and to keep watching.
Yet often times we "cannot see the forest through the trees", so it would be fitting to look at other possibilities as to the earthquake causes. It really does seem that Elenin itself could not be responsible for the effects that it seems to be having.
One possible alternative explanation, though not any more pleasant, is the government's HAARP program: High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program. I invite you to do your own research on the subject. But in short, it uses vibration harmonics to effect change. It is a principle similar to that of an opera singer being able to shatter a glass by her voice. This HAARP has already been blamed for other Earth disasters. Yes, it could produce earthquakes, shoot down planes, and many other military applications. It is an ideal weapon, because it is nearly impossible to detect; and its results are made to appear as natural disasters.
It is my opinion that the Elenin earthquake phenomenon is not the HAARP program, for then you would hear far more about the comet and its effects, as a cover-up. Beyond HAARP, it would have to be mostly unknown factors at work which are producing these effects.
Ultimately, Planet X could be behind it, somehow. Perhaps it is nearer than we think. It would be nice if we could dismiss Elenin, but no argument that I have thus far seen comes close to convincing me! The way this matter is being handled leads to great suspicion.
Again, please don't get carried away with any fear about this comet; yet don't be quick to dismiss it, either! Keep watching, and take reasonable precautions such as you would take even for any severe weather event. There is so much that we don't know about it yet. Take the middle road on this; don't be selling your house and moving in with a survival group, but don't sit idly by, either.
