Syria crisis persists

The U.N. has now said that Assad's crackdown has killed 'well over 7500' people. Needless to say, this is at least only a part truth. What isn't being said is that those being killed by Syrian forces are not peaceful protesters, but armed rebels. Also, that more than one-third of those killed have been police and military personnel. In other related headlines;

- 2/27 had 23; the highest being a 5.6 in the Ryukyu Islands.
