Once again, a gov't drill is occurring on an important day. Originally, Earth was supposed to fly through the tail debris of comet Elenin that day. Now, it is asteroid YU255 scheduled for a near-Earth pass on that day; it will pass between the Earth & Moon, at 213,000 miles away. As far as anyone knows, there is no threat from either of these possibilities.
Yet if a first-ever drill like this for FEMA is in the works that day, something could be up. The asteroid scenario may be used as a cover for some other operation. Use the link to learn more!
